TV Azteca’s Love Under Construction to Debut on Caracol

MEXICO CITY, September 4: In a deal brokered by its
international sales agent Comarex, TV Azteca has licensed its telenovela Love
Under Construction to Caracol’s free-TV
channel for premiere in Colombia tomorrow at 5:15 p.m.

Love Under Construction has
already soared to a 30-percent audience share and an 11 rating in prime-time
broadcast in Mexico. The telenovela features Colombian actress Margarita Rosa
de Francisco, Argentinean Saul Lisazo, Mexican Paola Nuñez and Chilean Andres
Palacios. In Love Under Construction,
a taxi driver named Sergio (“El Checo”) falls in love with a young architecture
student named Elisa who lives in a crowded housing project with her mother
Maria and two younger sisters.

Marcel Vinay Jr., the CEO of Comarex, calls the show a
“romantic story marked by a forceful plot and real-life characters living and
suffering universal conflicts. We are sure Colombian viewers will find Love
Under Construction an alluring telenovela.”
