TV Azteca & Telefonica Renew Contract

MEXICO CITY: Telefonica’s Movistar TV has renewed its contract with TV Azteca for its pay-TV network Azteca International to be available across Peru. 

The signal will also be extended across key territories such as Chile and Venezuela. This is an extension of a relationship between TV Azteca and Telefonica that began in 2002. The contract renewal, which was secured by TV Azteca’s exclusive distribution partner, Comarex, covers Azteca International and Azteca Novelas in Latin America, Puerto Rico, Europe and Canada. Content from Azteca 13 and Azteca 7 will also be available from the Azteca International network.
