TV Azteca Presents New Novela Channel

MEXICO CITY, April 23: TV
Azteca is presenting its new telenovela channel, Azteca Novelas, during CANITEC,
which runs from today through April 25 in Mexico City.

The new 24/7 channel will
broadcast telenovela programming 365 days a year, including the hits Nothing
Personal and Forbidden Passions.

Marcel Vinay, TV Azteca’s
international sales VP, commented: “Our telenovelas have been sold to distant
countries, such as Indonesia, and achieved impressive results. Due to the
treatment of universal subjects anyone can easily identify with them.”

He continued: “Azteca
Novelas is a tremendous step into the future taken by TV Azteca. We are
confident the channel will be enthusiastically received by those cable systems
whose primary goal is to offer viewers the best entertainment options.”
