Turner Hires CCO for India

MUMBAI: Turner International has named Vivek Bahl the chief content officer for India, to be based in the Mumbai office.

In this newly created position, Bahl will oversee the content strategy and development for Turner’s portfolio of entertainment brands in India, including Imagine TV, Cartoon Network, POGO and WB. Bahl will report to Mark Eyers, the chief content officer of Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific. Prior to his new role, Bahl was the executive creative director for Star Network, co-produced the series Navya for Star Plus and has also worked with Mahuaa Network in a consulting role to set up their new regional channels.
