Turner Entertainment Exec Takes on Expanded Role

LONDON: Turner Broadcasting has expanded the responsibilities of its senior VP of entertainment for Northern Europe, Pete Flamman, to include oversight for the company’s U.K. entertainment business.

Flamman currently manages the Northern European region‚ covering Germany, Central and Eastern Europe and Nordic. His additional U.K. responsibility will see him managing kids’ channels Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito and CN Too, as well as film channel TCM and comedy brand Adult Swim. He replaces Dee Forbes, who left Turner for Discovery Networks UK. Flamman reports to Jeff Kupsky, the president of Turner Broadcasting Europe.

Kupsky commented: “Pete has a proven track record of launching and growing successful businesses throughout Europe, which we have seen him achieve in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe.
