Turner Enters Carriage Deal with SingTel mio TV

SINGAPORE: SingTel mio TV and Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific have reached a carriage agreement for seven channels, including Cartoon Network and Boomerang, to be made available on the platform.

The region's leading kids' brands, Cartoon Network and Boomerang, become part of the platform's offering as of today. Also in the way of children's entertainment, the animation channel Toonami will be available at the end of the month. Further Turner channels joining the SingTel mio TV platform are CNN International, truTV, Turner Classic Movies, the newly launched Korean entertainment network Oh!K and WarnerTV.

Ricky Ow, Turner International Asia Pacific’s president, said: “With this new partnership with SingTel, our portfolio of leading TV brands is now available in all Singapore pay-TV households. Singaporeans have enjoyed our brands and content for years, so we are excited to offer our channels to an even bigger audience.”

To offer our customers a glimpse of the new programming, we are pleased to offer a free preview of all the new channels from today until March 5.”
