Acorn TV Adds More Exclusives to Streaming Slate

SILVER SPRING: Acorn TV, a British TV streaming service in North America, has added a handful of shows, including the political thriller Secret State, to its roster of exclusives.

Other titles joining Acorn TV are The Man Who Lost His Head, a dramedy led by Martin Clunes; The Blue Rose, an investigative drama; The Palace, set in Buckingham Palace; London Irish, a controversial comedy; and The Rise of the Nazi Party, a documentary. The service also picked up the Australian comedy series Kath & Kim.

Acorn TV continues to offer the U.S. premieres of A Place to Call Home, Serangoon Road and a new season of Midsomer Murders, as well as the first two seasons of Accused. On February 2, the service will feature the U.S. debut of the new season of Foyle's War.
