CANNES: A slate of original productions from Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific’s channels are on offer as both formats and completed programs at MIPTV, including the Indian kids’ series M.A.D. and the Korean celebrity-based show I’m Real.

“Asia Pacific is emerging as a hotbed for original content and Turner continues to invest in the development of live action series such as I’m Real; formats that include M.A.D; and animation like Roll No. 21," said Rick Fernandes, who oversees original production and development at Turner Asia. "It’s encouraging to see Turner’s locally produced entertainment from this region being recognized on the global content stage.”

“We have a diverse and compelling library of content solutions on offer this year and we’ve already received a lot of interest from buyers in the lead up to MIPTV, particularly in our live action series such as Falling Skies, Yes, Chef! and our kids’ animated series," added Grace Chan, executive director of Turner Content Solutions.

The slate includes M.A.D., FAQ, I’m Real, Roll No. 21, Arjun and the Adventures of the Ice Lotus and Balla Bow.
