TORONTO: Three new series have been slated for production by Tricon Films & Television, including the lifestyle show Love Trap.

The 30×30-minute Love Trap, produced for CosmoTV, watches as people approach their secret crush to tell them how they feel. Also on Tricon’s lifestyle slate is Ex Wives Rock, a 14×30-minute show produced for Slice Network. The series spotlights four women as they reinvent themselves after surviving their marriages to rock & roll singers. Among those featured in the show are Susan Dixon, the ex wife of Warrant bassist Jerry Dixon; Bobbie Brown, the ex wife of Warrent frontman Jani Lane; Athena Lee, ex wife of Scorpions drummer James Kottak; and Sharise Neil, ex wife of Motley Cru’s Vince Neil.

The factual series Game Changers rounds out the slate. Produced for Discovery Canada, the 8×30-minute series features science luminaries who are changing the world we live in. Andrew Anthony hosts, introducing viewers to new ideas and creations from rebels of the science world.

Tricon also has a slew of continuing series to highlight, including Secrets from a Stylist, Bitchin’ Kitchen and The Next Star.

“We are delighted to announce our summer production slate as well as new broadcast partners that advance the strategic expansion of our lifestyle and factual development slate,” said Carrie Mudd, the executive VP of development and co-productions at Tricon Films & Television.
