CARLSBAD: The action sports company TransWorld Media has teamed up with Apparent Gravity Media on its first TV series, TransWorld Sessions.

The series, 26×30 min., will feature some of the most popular action sports, including freestyle motocross, skate, snowboarding, BMX and surfing. Action sports athletes will also be in the spotlight, including James Stewart, Dane Reynolds, Hanah Teter, Brian Deegan, Scotty Lago, Sean Malto, Peter Line, Ryan Dungey, Danny Way, Daewon Song and Andy Irons. Targeted at males 14 to 34, the series will debut in October.

"We are proud and excited to be associated with TransWorld Media in bringing this terrific, high-quality programming to television," said George Krieger of Apparent Gravity Media. “TransWorld Sessions brings authenticity and storytelling credibility to series television, and the images are simply electric. Currently no other company apart from AGM is selling as wide a variety of lifestyle and extreme sports programming into as many markets around the globe, and I believe that this will only grow in the coming months as we start to market TransWorld Sessions and the thrilling AMA Motocross series.”

Added Ben Kelley, the managing editor of TransWorld Skateboarding: "TransWorld videos have always been known for progressive filmmaking and pushing the limits. Sharing that innovation and 23 years of the best videos of all time with the rest of the world is just another step in our long legacy."

Nick Hamilton, TransWorld Snowboarding’s director of photography and video, agreed: “I am delighted with our latest International TV deal as it completes our media package, complementing our industry leading print, online and video projects. The video content we are producing is some of the finest cutting edge snowboarding action going, fitting exceptionally well anywhere globally on TV, he said.”
