LOS ANGELES: Following a record-setting performance of the Transformers Prime mini-series event, The Hub has slotted the original half-hour series to launch in its regular weekly time period starting February 11.

Transformers Prime, done in full CGI animation, will feature archrivals the Autobots and the Decepticons as they once again face-off in their epic rivalry for control of Earth. The Hub introduced the new show with a five-part mini-series from November 29 to December 3. The event earned the network its best-ever audience deliveries among those ages 2+ and households.

In the run-up to the February 11 premiere of the original series, The Hub has scheduled an encore presentation of the Transformers Prime mini-series, starting January 14 with back-to-back presentations of the first two half-hour episodes of the mini-series. The channel will present two additional episodes of the mini-series each Friday in the 4 p.m. time period ahead of the premiere.

Transformers Prime is produced for The Hub by Hasbro Studios.
