TPI to Bring Trio of New Shows to MIPCOM

CHANTILLY: TeleProductions International (TPI) has a number of new offerings for MIPCOM buyers, among them Pablo’s Hippos, Libya: The Path to Light and Cart Man’s Great Adventures.

The hour-long HD Pablo’s Hippos looks at the life and times of the notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar. It spotlights the private zoo he created at his country home in the Colombian jungle.

Also an hour-long HD production, Libya: The Path to Light looks at how ordinary people in Libya came together to launch a revolution. The film is produced by Cairo-based Zad Productions.

Cart Man’s Great Adventures, an HD title as well, follows the journey of Japan’s Tadashi Nagase, who has the goal of walking around the planet while pulling a 200 kg cart. The film is a joint venture between TPI and Japan’s TV Tokyo.
