Toby Melling Rejoins ITVS GE as VP of Sales

LONDON: ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has hired Toby Melling, who previously worked for the company, as its VP of sales for Northwest EMEA, effective next month.

In his new role, Melling will report to Dan Gopal, ITVS GE's executive VP of distribution and global digital partners for EMEA. He is charged with handling all TV and digital sales across NW EMEA and supervising an existing team that oversees Germany, Benelux and the Nordics. He will also be directly responsible for all French sales.

Melling has been serving as the VP of sales for television and home entertainment at Content Media since 2007. Before that, he was the VP of sales for ITVS GE—which was known as Granada International at the time—where he managed sales to a number of European territories. Earlier in his career, he held positions at such companies as Pandora, Capitol Films and BBC Enterprises.

Gopal said: "It's fantastic to welcome Toby back into the ITVS GE fold. He brings with him a wealth of experience of the NW EMEA region, France in particular, which will prove invaluable as we continue to grow this area of the business."
