TNT7 Scores 40 HBO Titles

CANNES: Nordic entertainment channel TNT7 has scored a deal for 40 movies and series from HBO, including Big Love and In Treatment, to premiere starting this month.

Also included in the 40 titles are: And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself with Antonio Banderas, Gia with Angelina Jolie, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge with Halle Berry and Real Women Have Curves with America Ferrera, among others.

The channel was launched on March 22 by Turner Broadcasting and NonStop Television, following Turner’s acquisition of Millennium Media Group (MMG), parent company of NonStop.

Ignas Scheynius, the CEO of NonStop Television and managing director of Turner Broadcasting System for Nordic and Baltic regions, said: “We are very happy to be working with HBO. These high quality titles are a perfect addition to our new channel TNT7 and makes our fall season even stronger.”
