Tiscali TV Launches Online VOD Download Service

LONDON, May 3: Tiscali is working with Arts Alliance Media
to launch Movies Now, an online video on demand download service delivering
more than 500 films and entertainment programs without a subscription fee.

The new online service is available to anyone who visits the
Tiscali website. Users can choose to rent or download to own, starting from 99p
per title. The library includes blockbusters such as The Bourne Identity, 8
Mile, Bridget Jones and United 93 as well as recent releases like Children
of Men, Jarhead and Smokin’ Aces. The library also contains classic sports events and
natural history programs from National Geographic.

Titles can be played on a laptop, PC or TV set if it is
networked to a PC. Prices start from 99p, with the latest blockbuster films in
the catalogue available for rent for £2.99 or £3.49.

online media director at Tiscali UK, said: “We are living in an on-demand

are now pleased to offer a comprehensive top quality catalogue that includes

services to over 1.7 million customers.
