Timeshifted CBS Reality Channel Launches on Freesat

LONDON: Chello Zone and CBS Studios International have secured a slot on Freesat for the timeshift channel CBS Reality +1, bringing all six services from the joint venture to the platform.

CBS Reality +1 joins the other offerings from CBS Chello Zone UK Channels—CBS Reality, CBS Drama, CBS Action, Horror Channel and Horror Channel +1—on Freesat. The channel is timeshifted by one hour from CBS Reality, featuring a lineup that includes Jerry Springer, Judge Judy, Cops and Bondi Rescue.

Chello Zone has also acquired season eight of the hit crime documentary series Crime Stories for CBS Reality and for Zone Reality, the channel owned by Chello Zone which broadcasts to 100 countries across the EMEA region. Crime Stories was picked up from Harmony Entertainment.
