The Queen of the South Heads to Hungary

MIAMI: Telemundo Internacional’s telenovela The Queen of the South (La Reina del Sur) has been acquired by Hungarian station Cool TV.

The Queen of the South takes a 7:30 p.m. time slot on Cool TV. The show has also aired in the U.S. and Spain, averaging 3 million viewers during its U.S. broadcast and 3.6 million in Spain. More than 4 million people have watched it on the web.

Recorded in HD, The Queen of the South is based on the book by Arturo Perez-Reverte that has been published in more than 50 countries in 30 languages.
