The Queen of the South Delivers for Telemundo

MIAMI: Telemundo’s finale of The Queen of the South (La Reina del Sur) was the highest-rated program in the network’s 19-year ratings history, averaging 4.2 million total viewers over the age of 2.

According to Nielsen Media Research, the telenovela drew in more than 2.8 million adults 18 to 49. The prime-time average was 3 million total viewers and 2 million adults 18 to 49, contributing to Telemundo delivering its best May ever across all key demos. The finale of The Queen of the South, which aired on May 30, more than doubled the delivery of the network’s previous most-watched finale.
