BURBANK: Gossip Girl, 90210 and The Vampire Diaries are among the shows to have scored an early pickup from The CW for fall 2011.

America’s Next Top Model has been ordered for both cycles next season. The reality franchise will kick off this fall with its first-ever all-star edition, featuring models who became breakout characters or had the most memorable stories from past cycles. The Vampire Diaries is also slated to return this fall. In its sophomore run, the series remains the network’s most-watched show and is The CW’s number one series among the target female 18-to-34 demographic.

Additional series getting early pickups include Gossip Girl, the network’s second most-popular series with the female 18-to-34 segment, and 90210, which posts some of TV’s biggest percentage increases from DVR playback.

Supernatural landed a renewal as well, to enter its seventh season. The series moved to Fridays last September, contributing to year-on-year gains on Fridays of 66 percent in adults 18 to 34 and 60 percent in viewers.
