The Cube Continues International Rollout

CANNES: Several new agreements have been closed by ALL3MEDIA International on the Objective Productions’ format The Cube, including for the show’s first commission in Italy. 

In Italy, Mediaset will be co-producing a first season with Objective Productions, with four feature-length specials. Fabrizio Battocchio, the head of the format department at RTI spa at Mediaset Group, said, “We at Mediaset are delighted to have concluded this deal with ALL3MEDIA International. The Cube is a fascinating game show – full of suspense and high emotions—simple tasks can be completely frustrating when played inside The Cube! We are looking forward to collaborating with Objective Production and their expertise with the production which has such a distinctive style."

Ukraine’s STB went for a 12-episode run for The Cube. Germany’s RTL is now in pre-production on a two-hour long special to air this spring. In Germany, the format will be co-produced by Objective and White Balance. 

The show is also finishing production of the second series for Saudi Arabia’s Saudi TV and in the U.K. season three is in currently in post-production.
