Terminator Series Slated for Launch on CTV and SPACE

TORONTO, January 11:
Canada’s CTV and the CTVglobemedia-owned channel SPACE: The Imagination Station
have acquired the rights to air the new sci-fi series Terminator: The Sarah
Connor Chronicles
.

The series will premiere
Sunday, January 13 at 9 p.m. on CTV with the second episode airing the
following day, and on Saturday, January 19 at 9 p.m. on SPACE, with both
episodes airing back-to-back.

Starring 300’s Lena Headley as Sarah Connor, Terminator: The
Sarah Connor Chronicles
picks up
where the blockbuster film Terminator 2: Judgment Day leaves off. Sarah has slain the killer Terminator
robot sent from the future to kill her teenage son John and believes they are
finally free. The series reveals what happens when Sarah stops running and
decides to fight against an evolving technological enemy bent on destroying
humanity. Her son John struggles with his destiny as future rebel leader and
savior of mankind while trying to live his life as an ordinary high school
student.

Terminator: The Sarah
Connor Chronicles
is
executive-produced by Josh Friedman and John Wirth. James Middleton serves as
consulting producer, while Toni Graphia serves as co-executive producer and
Natalie Chaidez serves as a consulting producer for the series. The Sopranos’ David Nutter directed the pilot.
