Televisa Unveils Raft of New Telenovelas for NATPE

MEXICO CITY, December 11: Televisa International, previously
known as Televisa Estudios, is bringing six new telenovelas to NATPE, as well
as a wide variety of other content.

Among the six novela titles is the 130×1-hour
tentatively-titled I Will Forever Love You (Te
Amare para Siempre), which centers on three
brothers who are on a mission to seduce the daughters of a strict aristocrat,
in order to avenge their dead sister. The women fall in love and leave their
homes for these men, but when they discover the brother’s true identity, things
take a turn.

Storm over Paradise (Tormenta
en el Paraiso) is the story of Aymar, who
is trying to regain Nicolas’s heart to save him and his family from an ancient
curse that causes great suffering and unhappiness.

Following the story of four women, the 130×1-hour A
Woman's Word (Palabra de Mujer) looks at the journey of these ladies, from
different social backgrounds, as they search for personal fulfillment.

In addition to six new telenovela titles, Televisa will
bring content that includes digital- and HD-TV programming, scripts, formats
and co-productions.

Other titles in Televisa’s catalogue include the 95×1-hour Passion (Pasion),
the 25×1-hour Love Without Makeup
(Amor sin Maquillaje) and the
130×1-hour Down with the Beautiful (Al
Diablo con los Guapos).
