Televisa Showcases Novela Slate

MIAMI, March 25: Televisa
Internacional will be at MIPTV with a slate of new novelas, headlined by Dumb
Girls Don’t Go to Heaven
(Las
Tontas no van al Cielo
).

The 130-episode series,
available in HD or as a format, is the story of a bride’s happiness cut short when
she discovers her husband in a passionate embrace with her sister. Breaking
with her past, Candy becomes an independent, self-confident woman. But then she
meets an attractive plastic surgeon who is also a shameless womanizer.

Also on the Televisa slate
is Soul of Steel (Alma de
Hierro
), a 270×30-minute series
about a family that becomes the center of complicated but humorous love
triangles. Rounding out the new offerings is Burning for Revenge (Fuego en la Sangre), shot in HD, a story of vengeance concerning
three brothers and the daughters of a strict woman.
