TELETOON Bulks Up Fall Slate

TORONTO: Canada’s TELETOON welcomes four new series to its daytime schedule this fall, along with further episodes from nine returning shows.

The new fall schedule kicks off September 7 with Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Airing Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m., the Lucasfilm Animation production will have a second season premiere in fall. Majority Rules, TELETOON’s first original production to feature a mix of live action and animation, makes its broadcast premiere on September 10 at 8 p.m. Making its Canadian premiere on September 13 is Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5. The show, inspired by the popular toys, will air regularly Sundays at 8 p.m. as part of the Action Force lineup. A further new series for TELETOON is The Super Hero Squad Show, debuting September 13. The series will also be part of the Action Force block.

TELETOON will air new episodes of 6TEEN, Johnny Test, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Tom and Jerry Tales and Jimmy Two Shoes. Total Drama Action is back for another season, as is Bakugan: New Vestroia, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Ben 10: Alien Force.

Family films become a focus on TELETOON this fall with the launch of two dedicated daytime movie blocks. On Saturday evening, The Big Ticket Movie brings family films to viewers at 7 p.m. with titles such as Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins. Also for families, the Laugh Riot Movie will air feature-length comedy at 11 a.m. For teen and adult audiences, Thursday and Friday night see movie selections such as The Lord of the Rings air from 10 p.m.
