TELETOON Announces Lineup for Fall

TORONTO: On September 6, TELETOON launches a new slate of comedy and action series, which will include the live-action and animation hybrid game show Skatoony.

The TELETOON lineup from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. will also feature the reality-show parody Total Drama World Tour, as well as the new installment in the Scooby-Doo! franchise, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Returning series include Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, along with a new season of the hit series Johnny Test. TELETOON has further slated a Halloween launch for the network’s first live-action feature My Babysitter’s a Vampire. Further Canadian premieres include Scooby-Doo! Abracadabra-Doo and Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster.

In the post-9 p.m. block, TELETOON at Night, the new schedule will include The Dating Guy and Archer, along with the comedy of the TELETOON at Night Pilot Project and fresh episodes of the sketch comedy series Robot Chicken. TELETOON Retro, which features classic cartoons, has lined up the returning hits The Smurfs, ThunderCats, The Flintstones and The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show.

“From kids and young adults to parents and families, we are bringing viewers of all ages more excitement  and entertainment through a host of new series and returning comedy and action favourites this fall,” said Carole Bonneau, the VP of programming for TELETOON Canada. “In addition to breaking new ground with productions like Skatoony and My Babysitter’s a Vampire we’re also bolstering our programming repertoire with a roster of new series, movies and the latest seasons of our hugely popular titles.”
