Telescreen Adds Conni to Catalogue

HILVERSUM: Telescreen has acquired the exclusive worldwide distribution rights for the new animated series Conni from youngfilms, excluding German-speaking Europe, Spain, Portugal and Latin America. 

Telescreen now holds rights to the 26×12-minute production across broadcasting, home entertainment, VOD, Internet, mobile, audio and non-theatrical. youngfilms is currently producing the animated series in cooperation with producer Dirk Hampel and broadcasting partner ZDF. NFP Animation is the official German co-production partner. 

Conni is an established publishing character in Germany, with more than 7 million pictures books sold to date. The new animated series will show the life and experiences of Conni, focusing on the adventures of everyday life. The series, aimed at 3 to 6, is slated to finish production in October 2010.
