Telemundo to Offer Dance! To the Beat of the Heart

CORAL GABLES: Telemundo Internacional is to distribute the telenovela Dance! To the Beat of the Heart, following a licensing agreement with Powwow Media Partners, First Street Films, Rosy Bushes and Pine Isle.

The Powwow and Channel 10 production, in collaboration of Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush—the executive producers of the hit series High School Musical—stars Isabel Macedo, Juan Gil Navarro, Maxi Ghione, Justina Bustos and Eva de Dominici. The series is about Redondo family whose lives around their dance academy.

Marcos Santana, the president of Telemundo Internacional, said: “We have been collaborating with Powwow ever since the company came up with the idea of producing a telenovela for youths, when there was not yet a synopsis. We are very happy to carry out the distribution in multiple territories throughout the world, of the first fiction production filmed entirely in Uruguay with this caliber of excellent values of production and international projection; it is certain that it will bring recognition to the country and the industry.”
