Telemundo Realigns Entertainment Division

MIAMI, March 22: As part of a
realignment of its entertainment division under recently installed
entertainment executive VP Carlos R. Bardasano, Telemundo has announced the
appointments of several key senior executives.

The realignment includes the appointment of experienced
industry executives Mariano Calasso to director of entertainment content;
Glenda Pacanins to director of entertainment strategy; and Alonso Gálvez to
director of entertainment productions.

Telemundo veterans Adriana Ibañez and Janét Velez will
assume new roles as the SVP of programming, and director of scheduling,
respectively.

In addition, Telemundo's on-air promotions department has
been added to the network's entertainment division, creating a stronger, more
fluid integration of Telemundo's on-air brand image with its programming
strategy. Carlos Collazo, an experienced Telemundo veteran, has been named
director of promotions and creative services, reporting to Bardasano.

"With Carlos Bardasano at the helm of our
entertainment department, we've refocused our programming strategy to further
integrate, unify, and strengthen the Telemundo brand across all fronts,"
said Don Browne, the president of Telemundo. "Carlos and his new team
bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will further solidify our
position in the market. Their arrival is one more example of the kind of
exceptional talent Telemundo is attracting, as we continue to develop and
create an industry."
