ROCKVILLE: TeleGraff Media has secured a range of deals on behalf of its clients Marc Pingry HD Productions, Partners in Motion and Quester.

Marc Pingry’s hour-long Dragon Boat Carnival was picked up by Velocity, the channel that replaced HD Theater; the one-off production centers on the teamwork that goes into the sport of dragon boat racing, a fast-growing sport in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Partners in Motion’s 6×30-minute First Battles was taken by Military Channel and Discovery Networks International. The show is hosted by General Wesley Clark, and each episode focuses on a moment in history that sparked a war.

The 9×30-minute series Countdown to the Future, also from Partners in Motion, was snapped up by Discovery Latin America. Each episode of the show highlights a connection between a prophetic vision from the past and contemporary scientific analysis.

Rounding out Partners in Motion’s sales, the 12×30-minute second season of The Reinventors was acquired by Smithsonian Networks. In the series, Matt Hunter and Jeremy MacPherson research bizarre inventions from history and rebuild them.

Factual distributor Quester has also licensed the 13×1-hour series A World Apart and the 23×1-hour show Mythical Roads.
