Telefe Unveils Slate for MIPTV

BUENOS AIRES, March 24:
Telefe International heads to MIPTV with a catalogue of formats, telenovelas
and comedies, including the second season of the hit teen-skewing property Teenangels.

Telenovelas on offer
include Taking Lives, centered
on a forensic anthropologist who finds himself involved in people trafficking
and will stop at nothing to put an end to it, and Don Juan y su bella dama, the story of an incorrigible
seducer who meets an extroverted girl who turns his life upside down.

Telefe will also be offering Countdown, an adaptation
of the Argentine series Final Minute, produced by FOX Telecolumbia. The
stories take place in real time over the course of one hour, and feature
different people as they face turning points in their lives. Watch Over Me will also be
available to international buyers at MIPTV. The 64×40-minute series is an
adaptation of the successful telenovela Forever Julia. Missing
Identity
is also on Telefe’s slate. The 3×1-hour program is based on the real
cases of children kidnapped in Argentina.

In the comedy genre are the 174×35-minute series Super Dad, an Ecuadorian
adaptation of the Argentine hit Cool Dad, and B y B, a daily
prime-time comedy from Cris Morena and RGB.
