Telefe International Brings Pretenders to Russia

BUENOS AIRES, March 17: Telefe International announced that Reyes del juego, the Russian version of its fiction format Pretenders, has successfully debuted on CTC.

Reyes del
juego currently airs
from Monday through Thursday at 9 p.m. The debut of Reyes del juego on CTC follows the rollout of another
fiction format, Ugly Betty, on the Russian network.

Created by
Damian Szifron and produced by Telefe Contenidos, Pretenders follows an elite group of four partners who solve problems of ordinary
people that nobody would be interested in dealing with through sophisticated
operations in which they pretend to be who they are not.

“Our presence with
offices in Russia, with RCN, helps us have a better vision of local reality, so
we can work more actively with our local partners in the adaptation of the
different projects we are carrying out in the country,” said Gonzalo
Cilley, the head of formats and international production of Telefe. “The
great response we had with Pretenders is the result of this successful process.”
