Telefe Appoints Senior Sales Exec

BUENOS AIRES: Telefe has named Ariel Katz as senior sales executive of satellite signals.

In his new role, Katz will be responsible for selling Telefe’s pay-TV channels by developing commercial relationships with clients in Argentina and elsewhere. Prior to joining Telefe, Katz worked with companies such as TyC Sports, Claxson and Turner International.

Daniel Otaola, the head of sales of satellite signals of Telefe to whom Katz will report, commented of the appointment: “The choice of Ariel Katz as Senior Sales Executive for Satellite Signals is due to the need of Telefe to continue opening the business, not only in Argentina but also in the international market and to keep on developing the structure.
