Target Scores German Format Deals

LONDON, September 18:
Target Entertainment Group’s Ten Years Younger has been picked up by RTL in Germany, while ProSieben acquired a seventh season of Popstars.

RTL will air Ten Years
Younger
daily in a mid-morning
slot beginning in October. MME will produce the format, which provides answers
on how to turn back the hands of time.

After having found success
with seasons one through six of Popstars, ProSieben has picked up a seventh run of the series. Tresor, which
has produced all the Popstars series
in Germany, will also produce the new season.

Tom Bairstow, the sales
manager at Target Entertainment Group, said: “We are thrilled ProSieben has
agreed to take series seven of Popstars and are very excited to have RTL as our latest broadcast partner for Ten
Years Younger.
Both shows have
grown into successful, long-running entertainment brands and are produced
locally in several territories. We are sure Popstars will continue to do well for ProSieben and are
confident the German viewers will embrace Ten Years Younger too.”
