Tan Appointed VP of Programming at Channel [V]

HONG KONG, March 13: Eddy
Tan has been named the VP of programming for STAR Entertainment’s music and
lifestyle television network Channel [V], effective March 31.

In his new role, Tan
oversees the programming development of Channel [V] International. He will work
with other Channel [V] properties in Asia on cross-channel initiatives
including concerts, events and acquisitions. Tan joins the company from KidsCo
International, where he served as the head of global programming and production
since 2006.

Channel [V] is an Asian
music and lifestyle brand, operating seven television channels in Asia and
Australasia. Channel [V] International airs across Southeast Asia and Hong
Kong. The six other regional channels are Channel [V] India, Channel [V] Mainland China, Channel [V] Taiwan, Channel [V] Thailand, Channel [V] Australia
and Channel [V] Korea. Channel [V] is seen in more than 50 million homes on a
24-hour basis.

expertise and proven track record as a creative executive and top-notch
programmer will be counted upon heavily while we beef up our content production

and youth brand in Asia.”
