LOS ANGELES: A new daytime talk show is on the planner from CBS, to be led by Jeff Probst, the Emmy Award-winning host of the reality hit Survivor.

The as-yet-untitled series is expected to start in fall 2012. The CBS Corporation serves as the longtime distributor of The Oprah Winfrey Show, which ended its run in May. Also in daytime, CBS has Dr. Phil and Rachael Ray, as well as The Doctors.

Probst has worked with CBS already for more than decade as the host of Survivor. He is currently on location for the 23rd and 24th seasons of the reality competition, which are the final installments covered under Probst’s current contract.
