Submissions Open for MIPTV’s Content 360

PARIS, December 5: The BBC, the National Film Board of
Canada, the Korean Broadcasting Commission and Ogilvy Interactive have issued a
call for submissions of new-media content ideas as part of the Content 360
pitching competition for MIPTV featuring MILIA 2008, taking place April 7-11 in
Cannes.

The competition launches December 7, while the deadline for
entries is January 21, 2008. The awards ceremony will take place on April 10,
2008.

IPTV, mobile and branded content feature strongly in this
third Content 360 competition. The goal is to reward new-media producers
worldwide for their innovative digital services and applications by supplying
the winners with a share of more than 100,000 euros for funding development.
Additionally, Content 360 offers finalists an opportunity to network with
broadcasting, production, Internet and mobile professionals from around the
world.

The competition is open to creators of original cross-media
entertainment concepts and digital solutions, including digital designers,
interactive agencies, mobile and web developers. In addition to the pitching
competition, Content 360 also includes conferences, workshops, case studies,
networking events and lounge areas.
