Studio U7 Secures New Raft of Deals

EKATERINBURG, August 14:
Russia’s Studio U7 has completed a new round of deals for several programs,
including Fit for the Wild and Up
Close and Dangerous
.

Russian national free-TV
channel Zvezda picked up a 21-hour package of nonfiction titles, including
Geological Journey
from CBC and Fit
for the Wild
, while the local
free-TV network STO took on 470 hours of nonfiction content, which included Canada
in the Rough
from Dancing Buffalo
Productions, Cable Ready's Medical Detectives and The Naked Archaeologist from VisionTV.

Red Media snapped up 40
hours of programming, with Electric Sky's Vertical City and Portfolio Entertainment's Animal Magnetism among the titles in the package. NTV MIR, a Russian-language
worldwide satellite channel, acquired a total of 26 hours from Studio U7,
including German ArtOko Production’s Miracles and Other Wonders.
