Strong Debut for The Successor in Greece

MUNICH: The premiere of the Greek version of SevenOne International‘s hit format The Successor garnered an average share of 35 percent from the 15-to-44 demographic on Antenna 1.

 

The local version, featuring Uri Geller, was the prime-time winner in its launch on Saturday at 9 p.m., according to SevenOne. The show scored 250 percent more than the channel’s average share and peaked at a market share of 46 percent with those aged 15 to 44. 

 


The Successor, created by Kuperman Productions, Keshet Broadcasting and Uri Geller, has been on air worldwide in territories such as the U.S. (NBC), Canada (CTV), Iceland (365), Turkey (Star TV), Hungary (TV 2), the Netherlands (SBS 6) and all over Latin America (A&E). In Germany, the first season of The Next Uri Geller drew an average share of 30.6 percent within the young adults age group (14 to 29).
