Steve Burns Signs On for World Congress of Science and Factual Producers

TORONTO: Steve Burns, National Geographic Channel’s executive VP of global programming, will lead a banner session at the upcoming World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP), held in Dresden, Germany, November 30 to December 3.

Burns will share his insight into the current climate of science and factual programming. During the session, entitled Films I Wish I’d Commission—and a Few That I Did—Burns will highlight his picks from this year’s batch of international films and will call a few producers to the stage to speak to his selections.

In addition to this banner session, the 18th annual WCSFP will feature workshops, networking events, one-on-one pitch meetings and panels that will spotlight emerging content trends and highlight issues facing the industry.
