Starz Takes Pair of Shaftesbury Kids’ Programs

TORONTO/MIAMI: Shaftesbury’s Vacation with Derek and the tween series Baxter have been acquired by Starz Entertainment.

The 90-minute Vacation with Derek is a follow-up to the hit series Life with Derek, which airs in more than 120 countries worldwide. The 13×30-minute Baxter follows a group of teens at a performing arts school. Shaftesbury is in Miami with a slate of more than 80 hours of kids’ entertainment to offer NATPE buyers.
