Starz Entertainment Bolsters Original Productions

ENGLEWOOD, September 5: Starz Entertainment has begun
production on two original comedy series, Hollywood Residential and the second season of Head Case, for premiere in January 2008.

The short-form comedy series Head Case, which premiered in April, will expand to new
half-hour episodes in 2008. Casting for the second season is currently under
way. The series will continue with the story of therapist Dr. Elizabeth Goode
(Alexandra Wentworth), as a judgmental, unconventional but thriving “it
therapist” to Hollywood’s celebrity elite. Comedian Steve Landesberg will
return as Goode’s office partner Dr. Myron Finkelstein. Last season, the series
featured celebrities such as Jason Priestley, Andy Dick, Rick Fox, Alanis
Morissette, Ralph Macchio, Tom Sizemore and Jane Kaczmarek. Head Case is produced in association with UNCLE Film +
Television.

Hollywood Residential
is a single-camera half hour comedy that follows a fictional, faltering
celebrity home makeover show on a struggling improvement cable network. The
comedy features frustrated, underachieving actor Tony King (Adam Paul) and his
new co-host Lila Mann (Lindsay Stoddart), who take their show to the homes of
Hollywood celebrities. Tony, inept as a carpenter, has more on his mind than
home improvement and tries to take advantage of his clients to further his own
acting career, always to embarrassing results. Hollywood Residential will feature appearances by Paula Abdul, Jamie
Kennedy, Cheryl Hines, Tom Arnold, John Cho, Chris Kattan, Carmen Electra and
Beverly D’Angelo. It is produced in association with Principato-Young
Entertainment with Paul Young, Cheryl Hines, Adam Paul, Peter Principato, Andy
Lerner and Andy Bobrow as executive producers.

“While movies will always be our core business at Starz, we
are excited to be expanding our original programming with celebrity driven

Case
,” said Michael Ruggiero, the VP of
original programming at Starz Entertainment. “These smart, sophisticated
comedies are a great complement to our robust movie offerings and allow us to
offer more choices to our subscribers.”
