SPTI Promotes Obregon to VP of Advertising Sales in Latin America

MIAMI, April 4: Sony Pictures Television International
(SPTI) has promoted Arlyne Obregon to VP of advertising sales in Latin America,
reporting to Klaudia Bermudez-Key, SPTI's senior VP and general manager of
advertising sales in Latin America.

In her new position, Obregon will continue to oversee
advertising sales for the SPE Networks in Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Argentina,
Colombia and Dominican Republic. She will continue to focus on developing sales
from these markets, but her role will also expand to include exploiting
sponsorship opportunities for all original productions such as Latin
American Idol
, Medio Dia en China and Brazil’s Next Top Model, as well as exploring multiplatform opportunities
that encompass mobile, online, client content development and others.

Prior to her promotion, Obregon was regional sales manager
since 2004. She joined SPTI in 1998 as senior account executive, handling
pan-regional advertising sales. Before SPTI, she was at CBS Telenoticias, where
she was an account executive from 1996 to 1998.

SPTI in Latin America oversees all advertising sales in the
region on behalf of its own branded television networks, SET, AXN and Animax,
as well as third parties such as E!, A&E, History Channel, Casa Club, MGM,
and as announced recently, HBO and Cinemax in Brazil.
