LONDON: Fireworks International has lined up a range of broadcasters from around the globe for Spike TV’s Guys Choice, an homage to all things male-oriented.

MTV in the U.K., Sky TV in New Zealand, ABS in the Philippines and MNet in South Africa are all on board for the 2010 special, which aired in the U.S. in June. This is the first Guys Choice that is available for international acquisition. This adds to previously announced sales to Movie Network in Australia, MTV in Finland, TV2 in Denmark, Animax in Latin America and AXN Asia/Animax Asia.

Bob Kennedy, the executive VP of non-fiction programming at Fireworks International, said, “Guys Choice has it all, incredible star power that cuts across all demos, great production values and a really fun vibe. Spike has truly delivered and we have a great roster of broadcasters around the world and are adding more daily.”

Eddie Dalva, the senior VP of content at MTV Networks Entertainment Group, added, "We’re thrilled with the global reach achieved for Guys Choice through its distribution by Fireworks International. The ratings success and critical acclaim of the past two Guys Choice specials illustrates that the event is connecting with audiences and becoming a must-attend for the Hollywood elite."
