Sparks Readies New Formats for MIPCOM

STOCKHOLM: Sparks Network is set to bring fresh formats to MIPCOM, including Lady Burlesque, Phenomenon and Speed Dancing, among others.

Formats available to buyers at MIPCOM include Lady Burlesque from Europroduzione, a reality-based talent competition featuring women who involved in the art of burlesque. The game show Phenomenon from Kuul TV features young adults competing to solve challenging questions in logic, math patterns and vocabulary. Speed Dancing from Elephant follows a single person looking for love by dancing with different candidates.

Also being offered is Murder Women from Posh Productions, a docu-fiction series featuring women who have committed murders. In Wanted from Trio Orange, dream partners are sketched by police and profiled on the Internet for single people to search for potential partners.

The format Celebrity Baby from South & browse, Hurricane from Amygdala about people who are wrongfully jailed and the children’s series Bedtime Stories from Trio Orange/TVA are up for grabs, as well as one of Turkey’s most popular television series Second Spring and three movies by Turkish director Cagan Irmak. Jail Birds from Film.UA, a reality series feauring ten felons, the quiz show Street Smart by Amygdala, the docu-soap Flat Living by South & browse and the reality series Our Renovation from Trio Orange will be presented at MIPCOM as well.
