Sparks Networks Expands Member Base

STOCKHOLM, June 1: Sparks
Network has added two new members to its global format exchange collective: Germany’s
Janus Entertainment—replacing MME Moviement—and Imagic in the
Middle East.

The independent producer
Janus Entertainment has produced shows such as We are Family for ProSieben and Die Kochprofis for RTL II. Imagic focuses on variety and reality
shows for prime time for the three biggest commercial stations in the Middle
East: MBC, LBC and Dubai TV.

The other members of
Sparks Network are Ay yapim (Turkey), Ambience Entertainment (Australia), ATM
Grupa (Poland), Moskito TV (Finland), Elephant & Cie (France), Kanakna
Productions (Belgium & the Netherlands), Boomerang (Spain), Promofilm
(America), Optimystix (India), Titan Television (Sweden), Triangle Production (Italy)
and Zana Media (Switzerland).

“We are very excited about
the chance to enter as the new German member in Sparks Network,” said Nicolas
Paalzow, the managing director of Janus Entertainment in Germany. “We will get
a constant flow of new formats and co-production projects to bring to the
German market and will be directly involved in TV development projects for the
world market.”
