STOCKHOLM: Sparks Network has licensed the OTW format Everyday Heroes to Hunan TV in China, while the scripted drama Ezel from Ay Yapim is headed to Vietnam for national broadcaster VTV and its Canal+ joint-venture channel K+.

Everyday Heroes, which is currently in its fifth season, is entering pre-production for its Chinese treatment. The deal with Hunan TV marks the first project to come from an agreement brokered by Sparks’ Chinese representative Idea Asia Media.

From Turkey’s Ay Yapim, Ezel is getting a Vietnamese treatment. The license is the first for the series in the Eastern Asian market, with addition negotiations in the works. The drama has been licensed in more than 40 countries worldwide.
