Southern Star Wraps Up Home-Entertainment Sales

SYDNEY, April 30: Southern
Star International has sold the home-entertainment rights for the three-part,
one-hour drama Midnight Man to
Granada Ventures, and has completed a deal for a DVD package with PAN Vision in
Scandinavia.

PAN Vision picked up the
home-entertainment rights to the first seasons of The Sleepover Club, a live-action tween series, and Blue Water High, a 78×30-minute live-action series about a surf
academy, as well as the
documentary series The First World War.

Meanwhile, Granada
Ventures snapped up the home-entertainment rights to Midnight Man, which stars James Nesbitt (Cold Feet). The thriller, set to air on ITV1, tells the
story on an investigative journalist who is on the trail of a conspiracy.
