Southern Star, Neptuno, Flamma Join to Produce Series

BARCELONA, October 13:
Southern Star Entertainment and Neptuno Films Production in association with
Flamma Films have started production on the 52 x 12-minute children’s animation
series Sea Princesses.

Based on the original book
series Princesas do Mar created by Brazilian author Fabio Yabu and
commissioned by the Seven Network Australia, Sea Princesses explores
sea kingdoms through the animated adventures of Polvina (Octopus Princess),
Ester (Starfish Princess) and Tubarina (Shark Princess).

The series will be
produced by Noel Price with executive producers Catherine Payne (Southern Star
International), Cristina Brandner and Josep Viciana (Neptuno Films). For Flamma Films, Reynaldo Marchezini
and Fabio Yabu will consult.

Southern Star and Neptuno
Films will finance the series, which will be launched at MIPTV 2007. Neptuno
will distribute Sea Princesses in Spain and Portugal, with Southern Star
distributing outside of these territories in consultation with Flamma Films in
Latin America.
