Sorority Forever Launches in Korea

BURBANK/SEOUL, October 27:
Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) has signed an
agreement that sees Sorority Forever,
a new
original series from McG and the producers of the hit Internet offering Prom Queen, airing in Korea on GOM TV,
an advertising-supported broadband video player.

The 40-episode short-form
series premiered on GOM TV on October 16, with one original 2- to 3-minute
episode set to debut each weekday. WBITD previously launched Sorority Forever, which looks at the
secret society that exists within sororities, on Bebo in the U.K. and MSN in
Canada.

“We think Sorority Forever is a perfect fit for
GOM TV, a series filled with interesting characters and a compelling mystery
for viewers around the world,” said Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, the president of
WBITD. “We look forward to working with GOM TV to make Sorority Forever a hit with Korean audiences.”

The VP of Gretech
Corporation’s media business division, Lyle J. Seo, added, “For those U.S.
series fans, they could enjoy all episodes of Sorority Forever and other U.S. series on personalized GOM TV.
Furthermore, we plan to service more high-quality content to our users to
position GOM TV as the best series supplier online.”
