Sony Preps New Multiplatform Magazine Show for ANIMAX

NEW YORK: Production is under way on a new half-hour entertainment magazine-style program, in the Qube, which is the first original series created specifically for Sony Pictures Television’s worldwide ANIMAX channel.

Produced by Embassy Row and distributed by Sony Pictures Television, in the Qube has been designed for mutliplatform distribution. The show is hosted by Maria Sansone and Tom Hatton and looks at what’s new in entertainment on an international level, covering movies, video games, music, freestyle sports and more. Each episode will consist of eight to ten segments. The show is slated to premiere on ANIMAX in several territories around the world starting in March. in the Qube will further air on Sci-Fi Channel in Australia and the PlayStation Network in Europe.
